Tomorrow (8th June) it’s World Oceans Day and for an extra excuse to celebrate the dive hub is a year old too!
A year ago I took the plunge and wrote my first blog about responsible scuba diving and how we can all make a difference through the way we choose to dive. I used World Oceans Day as my inspiration and a kind of deadline date – no more waiting and procrastinating, the time had come to get my ideas out there! World Oceans Day is about people all around the planet celebrating the oceans and raising awareness of what everyone can do to help conserve them.
It’s hard to believe a whole year has now flown by – and to mark World Oceans Day I’ll be tweeting my dive hub highlights and some top ocean quotes from guest contributors, @thedivehub #WOD (or #WorldOceansDay)
The dive hub continues to grow everyday and there is lots more planned for the next 12 months – so watch this space!
